The KÖNIG hat ceiling profile is a zinc-plated metal profile with an organic coating and can be used for the direct mounting of building boards onto load-bearing component structures using suitable attachment material. With its low height, it enables the achievement of particularly slim constructions and thus creates more usable space.
A further possible area of use is in ceiling / wide span support constructions with reinforcement profiles (UA profiles). Here it can be used to stabilize the UA profiles in terms of bending/buckling.
The KÖNIG C ceiling profile is a zinc-plated metal profile with an organic coating, and is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of DIN 18182-1, DIN EN 14195 as well as DIN EN 13964. The profile is used for the creation of suspended ceilings with plasterboard as the sub-construction, and can be processed using accessories according to DIN 18168 and DIN EN 13964.
The beads in the flange area as well as the flattening down of the flange ends and the bead in the crossmember, give the profile an additional stability to enable an optimal processing.

H punches are incorporated into the crossmember of the profile for the routing of installation lines and cables. An easy and quick way to create a hole in the crossmember area is to slightly bend over the sheet metal tabs. This can be increased as needed on the building-side, according to the specifications listed below. The asymmetric geometry enables a simple interlacing of the profiles within each other. The 3 bead technology in both of the flanges and the flattening down of the flange ends, give the profile an additional stability to enable an optimal processing.
The KÖNIG U reinforcement profile is a zinc-plated metal profile with an organic coating, and is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of DIN 18182-1 as well as DIN EN 14195.
The profile is used for the creation of non-load bearing internal partitioning walls in accordance with DIN 4103, as a stiffening element in areas with a higher loading or in the area of openings such as doors. It is used to create a reinforced sub-construction. In addition, it is used as a wide span support in ceiling structures.
For weight saving purposes and the associated simplified processing options, the recesses in the crossmember area are provided in the form of long holes.

The bead in the crossmember area turns into an airtight edge connections with tightenting of the screws and use of sealing tape.
