Commitment to a fair start in education

KÖNIG donated € 15,000 to "Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e.V."

Children - and their education in particular - are important to KÖNIG. That is why the Moringer family company decided around three years ago to support valuable projects in this area. At the turn of the year, the Deutsche Kinderhilfswerk e.V. received a donation of 15,000 euros for their project “Equal Opportunities for Education”. Under this motto, school bags, pencil cases, colored pencils, exercise books and sports bags are distributed to children in need across Germany. Due to the corona, a photo session could only now take place.

In Berlin-Hellersdorf, around 60 children were happy about the surprise.

Together with Sven Hammer, head of the Berlin KÖNIG branch, managing director Oliver Rokohl presented the high-quality, bulging satchel. A total of 100 pieces will be given away with the help of the KÖNIG donation. The above The institution represents many other partners of the German Children's Fund who benefit from the campaign and make contact with low-income families.
