The practice-oriented trade fair BLECHexpo and Schweisstec (a double exhibition) takes place every two years at the Landesmesse Stuttgart and offers as the world's only trade fair an exhibition for the complementary technologies sheet metal processing and joining technique. With over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and a gross exhibition area of 70,000 m² (figures from 2011), the industry presents itself at the Blechexpo / Schweisstec on a global scale. The stated goal of the trade fair alliance is to represent the entire process chain of cold forming sheet metal processing and the associated thermal or mechanical cutting, joining and bonding technique.
