Pragmatic and technically sound!

Technical project consulting à la KÖNIG

With its elaborate ceiling and striking glass façade, Meschede will receive a modern and safe event center.

In cooperation with KÖNIG, the self-supporting construction was efficiently realized and protected against wind load and corrosion. From the beginning, the ideal solution was worked in partnership with the planning office Utsch Design from Freudenberg, Germany, and its processors.

We mastered the challenges safely and economically - right up to the tensile test on site! Proof that the fastening of the KÖNIG long-span girders in the existing structure can absorb the wind forces acting in the outer area was provided by train scales.

The applied force is increased tenfold by means of leverage - in this case around 120 kilograms. Pragmatic, yet technically sound. As well as the attachment by assembly adhesive - knew how! The requirements of the standard DIN EN 1991-1-4 are taken into account in any case.

In terms of corrosion protection, KÖNIG also offered the appropriate solution:

KÖNIG profiles and accessories with protection class C3 long / high were used in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944: 1998. These products are ideal for outdoor areas with moderate humidity and pollution of the ambient air.
